Why Metabolic Health Matters

Many women come to Ellivate Wellness feeling frustrated. They’re doing their best — eating “well,” staying active, managing busy schedules — yet still experience:

  • Stubborn fat gain or changes in body composition
  • Low or inconsistent energy
  • Blood sugar crashes or cravings
  • Hormonal symptoms
  • Chronic stress or burnout
  • Autoimmune symptoms that flare during high-stress periods

These challenges are rarely about willpower.
They’re often signs that the metabolism, nervous system, and hormones need support.

My Story (And Why I Do This Work)

Like many women I work with, I’ve lived a high-pressure life.
I spent over a decade working in corporate finance at a Fortune 100 company while managing demanding roles, responsibilities, and expectations.

After the birth of my first child, a period of intense stress led me to face my own health challenges, including an autoimmune diagnosis. That experience deeply changed how I viewed health. I realized that simply “pushing through” wasn’t sustainable — and that lifestyle, stress, and metabolic health play a powerful role in how our bodies function.

Through education, guided lifestyle changes, and consistent support, I learned how to better support my body and work with it rather than against it. That journey is what ultimately led me to become a health coach and create Ellivate Wellness.

Today, I bring both professional training and lived experience into my work — especially when supporting women navigating stress, hormonal shifts, and autoimmune considerations.

How I Support My Clients

I don’t believe in rigid rules, restriction, or one-size-fits-all plans.

My approach is:

  • Personalized — based on your goals, lifestyle, stress load, and health history
  • Metabolism-focused — supporting energy, blood sugar, hormones, and recovery
  • Gentle but effective — realistic strategies you can sustain
  • Autoimmune-aware — respectful of your body’s limits and needs
  • Education-driven — so you understand why things work

Together, we focus on building habits and strategies that support long-term metabolic health — not quick fixes.

Outside of Coaching

I’m a mom of two, and family is at the center of my life. I value health not as perfection, but as something that allows me to show up fully — for my children, my work, and myself.

My own lifestyle includes practices like movement, strength training, mindfulness, nourishing food, and time in nature — not because I believe in “doing everything,” but because these support my energy, stress levels, and overall well-being.

This perspective shapes how I coach: realistic, compassionate, and sustainable.
